  • The Groenendaal arboretum is one of the oldest in Belgium and was built in 1897. Commissioned by Leopold II.e, there are more than 400 different trees and shrubs, including 'thick Eugène', a 6 meter thick poplar. The arboretum has a beautiful relief, which makes it pleasant to walk.
