The cathedral-type church is the largest and most architecturally important Baroque building in Lower Styria. The church was added in 1763 and boasts the famous coat of arms and precious altar paintings of Martin Johann Kremser-Schmitd from 1775. The main building is called Štekl and is located next to the cathedral bell tower. It was built in 1578 as an entrance and defense tower in the fortified complex of the Gornji Grad manor. In 1751, a new diocesan residence was built next to it, a mansion with a large and fully painted ceremonial hall. There is a gallery on the ground floor, and the upper rooms are intended for museum collections. Worth seeing.
