Tips
Near the peaks of Corno alle Scale and Cornaccio, this point of the Alta Via dei Parchi is incredibly panoramic: it allows for a great view of the large basin from which the Dardagna stream originates. The Calanchetta plain is in fact marked by numerous impluvi which, crossing undulating grassy slopes, come together to form the first stretch of the Dardagna, which is joined, further downstream, by the branch that descends from Mount Spigolino, before tackling the narrowest part of the valley and form the well-known Dardagna waterfalls, precisely.
