The first town on the cycle tour is Yela, which is hidden in a small valley between two alcarrias but was not spared from being razed during the Civil War, like other towns in the region. In the square, the portico of the church stands out, built in the fifties of the last century with ashlars from the Sigüenza quarries on the main facade of the sanctuary of Romanesque origin.
