Castello and Isasca on an almost flat stretch of cart track where you reach the sign on the left that leads to the watershed ridge in Costa Monforte, here the enchanting and panoramic path opens up with a splendid view of the mountains of the Po valley, the high peaks of the Valle Varaita and if you are lucky enough to have a clear day you can see Monte Rosa, in the Isasca valley the small sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine on a plateau watches over the valley in silence. On the path on the ridge you reach the ancient white marble quarry "la Marmorera" (about 1000 meters above sea level) abandoned at the end of the 18th century. The extracted material, worked on site, was then transported by the shortest route to the nearby town of Isasca. It was used to finish the interiors of the church of Sant'Andrea di Brossasco, Casa Cavassa in Saluzzo, the church of San Filippo Neri in Turin and other important historical and cultural sites. The route continues along the ridge up to the crossroads for Pilone Rocca Bellina where the route, always with blue arrows, descends into some villages in the lower Gilba Valley passing through larch and fir woods, large chestnut trees, some well-preserved votive pillars tell a story history, Rua' Tonda, the Castle, the Bricco.

The ring ends with the return to Brossasco. Difference in height of about 700 meters, a decidedly demanding excursion but of great cultural and naturalistic value brought to light thanks to a group of volunteers, with the support of the proloco and the municipality. Each path that is reborn is an important story for the mountain and its inhabitants, stories and legends, scenes of daily life and centuries of adventures. Both routes are suitable for all seasons.
