Cycling
The Kolonnenweg is part of the inner-German border installations on the part of the former GDR. It's made from weather-resistant perforated panels, mostly planted through, and pretty much firmly attached to the ground. The ravages of time are also gnawing at these paths. So many of the perforated plates have shifted. This path is a great challenge for cyclists, but not an obstacle for hikers.
