This is a must-see for any history buff! We spent several hours walking around the grounds, taking it all in. The visitor center has some lovely items for sale and a very informative 15-minute film. While you're in the park, don't miss the old cemetery right next to the fort and the old lighthouse. Both are also amazing.

A very historic site with a direct connection to American history. The guides were knowledgeable and easy to reach if you had any questions! The introductory video is a must-see to understand the fort and the historical significance of its position during the war.

In addition to the old historic fort, the park has swimming, picnic areas, sports fields, and fantastic views north across Lake Erie to the Toronto skyline. Certain areas of the park charge a use fee. You can read more here: parks.ny.gov/parks/fortniagara
