The current church was probably built at the beginning of the 13th century, in 1260 it was on the list of the Estimo.
Made entirely of stone, the Church has a single nave with an apse.
Of the facade we pay attention to the typical Romanesque arches, the stone portal with decorated arch and the lunette with a fresco of 1735 (with the representation of the Madonna del Rosario between San Pietro and Sant'Andrea).
The church underwent numerous changes over the years, among which we recall in 1892 the addition of the marble flooring of the presbytery, the enlargement of the choir and the displacement of the high altar. In the lower part of the bell tower you can see a large arch (closed after 1580) which allowed you to cross the bell tower in a longitudinal direction.
