The parish church of St. Margaret in Einsbach is the older of the two churches and was first mentioned in a deed of donation under the place name Jinespahc perhaps as early as 1004, but certainly around 1195.
In the Konradin register of 1315, Einspach is mentioned as the parish of "Eynspach" with the four branches of Palsweis, Lauterbach, Überacker and Wiedenzhausen.
