The Santa Maria is an 18th century church that was probably built over the old mosque. After being affected by the 1755 earthquake, it was later modified.

The façade is notable for Gothic elements: the portal is adorned with a plant ornament, the windows are characterized by a pointed arch and a rosette. The clock tower was later provided with decorative elements, but is also characterized by a simple design. As a curiosity, the arrangement of the towers is shown on the head side, but usually on the opposite side.
