Vendenheim is a commune with 5512 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2015) in the department of Bas-Rhin in the region of Grand Est (until 2015 Alsace). The small town is located ten kilometers north of Strasbourg. The inhabitants call themselves "Fédinois".
