Great overlook and beach at the mouth of the three creeks (Atascadero, San Pablo, and San Jose Creek), merging into Goleta Slough just before the estuary opens into the Pacific Ocean. A historical marker indicates the early visits of Spanish explorers, and the mindless destruction of much of the Slough wetlands by airport construction.
