Tips
From this point near Longarone you can easily see Mount Toc, a peak known nationwide because of the Vajont disaster of October 9, 1963. A landslide from the mountain ended up in the Vajont dam, the water flooded and many villages downstream were destroyed by the force of the water. Nearly 2,000 people died.
