Convenient railway station for starting or ending the bike tours along the Austrian / Slovakian border.
Unfortunately, the train schedule from Marchegg in the direction of Vienna is mind-blowingly stupid.
Three trains each hour, but a three start within 20 minutes and then there is a 40 minutes "hole" in the schedule. WTH?

If you want to go from Vienna to Bratislava but want to avoid the endless cycle path on the Danube embankment, you can take the regional train to here and then rush along the quiet road to Hof Castle and over the bridge into Slovakia.
