Cycling
The first group of the old 35 MW Turbigo Ponente power station entered service in 1928. In 1937, the first European 220 kV line, the Isarco-Turin, which headed the Turbigo substation, entered service.
In the sixties, when the old plant was dismantled, a 70 MW and a 75 MW group were installed and entered service in 1960 and 1964 respectively.
