excellent smooth gravel road up onto the Long Mynd, where you'll find plenty more fun bridleways and routes.
Doable on most bikes, popular with mountain bikers but lovers of strada bianche on a road bike should be fine! Steep sections but a beautiful climb all the way up through the forest from the bottom gate. Usually other walkers and riders around so smile and wave!
