A welcome bench with a fantastic view over the Langen Wysen.
The view from the eastern ridge of the Langer Berg sweeps across the Ilmtal Bridge in the direction of Langewiesen. In the background, the peaks of the adjacent mountain heads line up like a string of pearls. For example the Tragberg, the Kienberg, the Aechtlersberg, the Floßberg and the Lindenberg to the west, when the view towards Ilmenau is slowly blocked by the forests. Since you face south, you always have the sun on your face, weather permitting.
