Whiteburn Farm weather vane marks the site of Whiteburn Airfield which operated between 1916 and 1919. The weather vane itself commemorates the farms history with the 4 images on the compass points. To the North is Tommy Dale, writer, poet and farmer. South celebrates Scole Stud, where world champion carriage driving Welsh cobs are bred, East shows Euan Dale an Olympic swimmer who competed in Beijing 2008 and West celebrates the first UKs first 4x4 driving school situated on the farm.
