Almost at the northern limit of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and on the border with the French state, between the Gola valley and the Tavascan valley, rises an imposing peak with a relatively isolated pyramidal shape: the peak of the Coma del Forn (2,685m). With a considerable difference in level, its ascent allows us to take off to a magnificent watchtower that offers us sensational views of the wildest Pallars Sobirà. During the winter, when this mountain is covered by snow, the ascent to the peak of Coma del Forn becomes a classic route for snowshoeing or mountain skiing.
