Despite its wild and rugged air, Praia do Guincho has good tourist facilities, such as two sets of beach bars, restaurants, showers and parking at the north and south ends of the beach. It is also the starting point of the coastal path that winds along the cliff tops and is part of the PR4 hiking route. It is also the end point of the Ciclovia do Guincho, a 9 km bike path that leads to Cascais.

Hiking

The bar/restaurant is a bit hidden behind the rocks in a bay. There is fish, meat, vegetarian/vegan and drinks, e.g. freshly squeezed juices (watermelon, 🍍,...) and you have a beautiful view of the beach and the Atlantic from the terrace. There are permanently installed wooden parasols and windscreens.
