Between Blaubeerwald and Boddenwasser, on the edge of a landscape conservation area, there is the former fishing hamlet Michaelsdorf. Michaelsdorf, first mentioned at the beginning of the 13th century, lies secluded on a peninsula in the bay. A small surfing beach is suitable for beginners because of shallow water. On the Boddenufer near Michaelsdorf you have a wonderful view of the bay and the opposite villages like Born and Bliesenrade.
