Pastýřka Observation Tower

The current Pastýřka Observation Tower, opened in 2009, stands on a site with a rich history. It replaced an earlier observation tower, named after Prince Jan Lichtenštejn, which was built in 1906 but unfortunately collapsed during a storm in 1916. After nearly a century, a new structure was erected, continuing the tradition of offering panoramic views from Pastvisko hill.

The tower is a striking modern design, combining a wooden structure with a steel spiral staircase. It stands 27 meters high, with its main viewing platform located at 25 meters. Visitors climb 132 steps to reach the top. The design was conceived by Jan Škoda, a native of Moravská Třebová.
