La Solana is another of the peaks that separate the Sierra de Hoyo from the plains of Manzanares. It has a height of 1,002 meters and is very close to the town of Hoyo de Manzanares. The trig point was built on July 15, 1975.

It should not be confused with the Solana peak, very close to the town of Moralzarzal.

Next to the vertex there is a forest surveillance post equipped with a radio station, antenna and lightning rod, which is included in zone 5 of the INFOMA region.
