It dates from the Carolingian period and is located opposite the church of Santa Maria Assunta, which is located between the old, no longer used, town hall and the rectory from the 16th century.
The very old origin of the baptismal font can be traced back to a period between the 7th and 10th centuries due to its obvious construction dates. However, the original structure is still very small due to the alterations made over the centuries.

Hiking
The Church of Santo Stefano dates from before the 11th century. Until at least the second half of the fifteenth century the church was still in excellent condition and splendidly adorned with valuable paintings. Unfortunately, the building was later semi-abandoned.
In 1849 the church became a coadductoral house. Today the Church of Santo Stefano is partly used as a private residence.
