... is here in the Franconian Open-Air Museum and dates from 1695 and is actually from key field. It was completely removed there in the 1990s and then rebuilt in its original state in the Windsheim open-air museum. The museum piece is also still active and responsible for the museum beer. The Bürgerbräu itself is a merger of four Windsheimer brewing families (Teufel, Deininger, Strauss and Oettinger) and today cooperates with the Tucher Bräu from the Franconian metropolis, which produces the Bürgerbräu beers according to the old recipes.
