Dry biotope - gravel route emerged from the rest of the Munich ring motorway, which was planned here. Construction began in 1938 but was stopped when the war began. In 1941, Camp III was built on the gravel dam with barracks in which 1,300 French prisoners of war were housed until the end of the war. After the war, 1,500 refugees and displaced people were accommodated. In 1955 the barracks were demolished. In 2003, the memorial stone was erected to commemorate the French prisoners. The gravel route was left to nature. Today there is a dry biotope with 120 species of flowering plants. Information boards are set up on the edge of the biotope.
