Camp Vught was one of the three German concentration camps in the Netherlands during the Second World War. Camp Vught was in Vught near the recreational lake the Iron Man. It has functioned as a concentration camp for more than two years. The place of remembrance was founded in 1990, in 2002 an exhibition building was added. The monument is located at the northeast point of the former camp site.
