In the years 1995/96 the area of the mill colony, which in the middle of the city behind the ev. Ref. Church was remodeled with great effort.
Today it houses a hotel / cafe restaurant, the Haus Brünemann with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the water.

From here you can set off on foot walks or wonderful bike rides along the city ditches. The Mühlenkolk and the city moats are integrated in the cycle path network of the Grafschafter Fietsentour, Route 15. Route 16 starts at the mill colony in Neuenhaus.
