Ganszipfel Observation Tower with a view of Fraueninsel, Krautinsel, and Herreninsel

You reach the tower on the riverside path from Gstadt towards Breitbrunn past beautiful painter's villas. From Mühln (Breitbrunn) you can reach the tower in about 35 minutes on the riverside path towards Gstadt.

From the Ganszipfel observation tower you have one of the most beautiful views of the Fraueninsel, Krautinsel and Herreninsel and the mountain ranges in the background.
Cormorants, gulls and gray geese live in the shallow areas between the islands all year round. During the breeding season, shore breeders such as great crested grebes, bluethroats, reed warblers and reed buntings can be observed, as well as moorhens and water rails. Source: chiemsee-alpenland.de
