The Constitution Column is a 32 m high fluted column, the platform to which 365 steps lead is unfortunately closed. The Constitution Column in Gaibach was erected by Franz Erwein Graf von Schönborn (1776-1840) between 1821 and 1828 on a highly visible spot in the Schönborn Castle in Gaibach in memory of the Bavarian Constitution of 1818.
