This is a bit of climb - 630ft - but the views are worth it when you get to the top.
The loose rock path to the summit and elevation make it a difficult run, mountain bike ride or hike. In the winter, the path is even more difficult because of loose rock and erosion of the path.
You pass through colourful heathland and can see as far Bodmin Moor from the top on a clear day
There are multiple paths to the top, but I approached it from St Agnes Head before looping around to head back to Porthtowan.
