Beautiful view from above.
Since it is an unprocessed rocky way up you should definitely pay attention to sturdy shoes! But just by this original, rocky climb it is a lot of fun and the view is really gigantic :)

To the north of Charaki are the remains of a Johanniter castle on a small mountain. It was conquered by the Johannites in 1306 and at that time served as a prison for a long time. The ascent to the castle ruins is from the land side (shortly before Charaki there is a road on the left up to the rock). From there it is a 10-minute climb. Only some of the walls of the fortress have survived, but the climb is worthwhile because of the beautiful view.

Ruins of a fortress of the Order of St. John. Very steep access. The climb should not be attempted without sturdy shoes. Beautiful view of Agia Agathi beach.
