Located in the Parque del Capricho. This beautiful garden (located in the Barajas district and open only on weekends and holidays) is one of the most beautiful and, paradoxically, least known parks in Madrid (especially its Civil War bunker). Built between 1787 and 1839 for the Dukes of Osuna, its main promoter was the Duchess, Doña María Josefa de la Soledad Alonso Pimentel. Protector of artists, bullfighters and intellectuals, the Duchess created an authentic natural paradise that was frequented by the most illustrious personalities of the time and in which the most prestigious artists, gardeners and set designers worked.
