The small brick church is located in the middle of the village and nestles with its cemetery directly to the enclosure wall of the estate. It can look back on more than 700 years of history. The first sacred building, probably made of wood or half-timbering, existed at the beginning of the settlement around 1244. However, only the rectangular new building erected in 1308, which was expanded in the late Gothic period by a choir with a three-sided apse, is documented.
