Valentin Netzer was Mayor of Moosach from 1902 to 1913. He had previously held this office from 1879 to 1881. Netzerstrasse was named after him in 1914, and Netzer died in 1918 at the age of 69. He lived in the Netzervilla on the Moosacher Stachus, a striking building that still catches the eye today, not only because you drive directly towards it when you come from the south on the Dachauer Straße to the Moosacher Stachus.
