Be careful with this tour. It's a real hike and can sometimes even lead to climbing down or up larger and smaller boulders. The path is mostly marked but not always well prepared and thus quite slippery. Plan in at least 3 hours, if not up to 4 for the case you want to make it a round trip back to the entrance of Kidoni gorge entrance. You should definitely take this with proper hiking shoes and have food and water with you. We did it in Autumn without any water in the gorges/rivers. Not sure if you can do this tour with water in the river, since the path frequently crosses the river. Also: In the lowest part (Mavropiliotis River) you will be hiking mostly in the river bed. This is quite annoying since most of the ground are loose stones and gravel which are very unstable to walk on. Would not do this tour again, especially since the gorges are very narrow and you do not have any view on the surrounding landscape which is generally beautiful.

We (m/f 70+ers) with good condition walked this fantastically beautiful route today, May 27, 2025. First gorge starting at the parking lot and sign 1 km before Keramos. The route consists of 3 parts. A first gorge, B through riverbed and last part C the second gorge. Good walking shoes, food and drinks are definitely necessary because it is a tough route of almost 8 km. It took us almost 4 hours.
