Please check local regulations for: Saupark
The construction of the Saupark Wall was started under King Wilhelm IV. On April 17, 1836, the foundation stone was laid for the 16.3 km long, 2.0 m high and 0.6 m thick wall, which was completed in 1939.
The wall thus enclosed the 14 square kilometer Saupark, the court hunting ground of the kings of Hanover and later the German emperors.
