Tips
After the forest nature trail was created in 1964, this system with a fountain, originally also with a rondelle and water wheel, was created in a half-timbered style. The fountain is named after the grandson Stefan Hoffmann of the district forester Christian Schwarz.
One suspects a former settlement or several buildings behind the fountain. So far there have been no archaeological investigations. The water wheel, which was made of metal, should remind of this fact. Rondelle and water wheel are no longer available today.translated by
