If we go back to the 19th century in 1885, Philippe Audibert, an artistic genius from Bonnieulais, (Grand Prix de Rome de sculpture), had the desire to build a tower in order to realize a buried dream: to have a magnificent panorama with stunning sea views.
Although it is impossible to enter the five-storey tower, one appreciates the genius talent of Audibert and the history of the Tower.
Moreover, when arriving in Bonnieux, look up at the bell tower of the Old Church to see the statue of the Virgin, a magnificent creation by Audibert.
