In the 1931 census the name "Largo Piazza" still appeared.For our ancestors it was simply the "Piazza", on which, in the evening, they entertained themselves to find out what had happened during the day, while they had been in the countryside, and where they met their employers, who hired them for the next day.The Mother Church and the Clock Tower overlook this square. Subsequently they wanted to give a denomination and the name of Giovanni Bosco was chosen, Saint of the work, Patron of the apprentices, great educator of young people. He was proclaimed a saint in 1934 and, on that occasion, the administrators of Cellamare wanted to dedicate the most beautiful square in the town to him, in the ancient village. During Fascism it was called the Revolution Square. It is long m. 60 and wide m. 31.
