    Opening to the public: 30/03/1864
    Closed to the public: 17/10/1954
Line 156 Hermeton-sur-Meuse - Mariembourg - Chimay - Anor (F) was established on the initiative of the Chimacian nobility through the Compagnie de Chimay of which it was the only line.

Secondary line aiming to open up the Belgian entities of a cross-border region called the Fagne (and more broadly the Thiérache), the line and its operating company entered the small history of the railway in Belgium as the last to be nationalized, at the end of the initial concession in 1948.

Very few cars, passing through villages frozen in time.
Very good asphalt, legendary descent with peaks above 80km/h.
    Beware viper in summer halfway.
