Cycling
The Gesteiger Tor was taken over by the Old Town Friends in 2008 and restored by themselves and preserved in its original state, taking into account the monument protection. Until the renovation of the Kräußelhaus, the Gesteiger Tor was also home to the Ritter-Wirnt Museum, the Old Town Friends' meeting room and the association's archive. These have now moved to the larger premises of the Kräußelhaus.
