Small village square with seating and the monk's fountain, which is supposed to symbolize the origin of Mönchehof. The church, which can be visited, is directly across the street.
On the site of today's village there was Hadebrachtshausen around 1100, but it was abandoned and fell into disrepair for 100 years. Only then did people settle here again. In 1216, the Hardehausen monastery founded a farm here, which was managed by monks.
