Very nice historic restaurant. Here you will definitely get rid of your hunger and thirst. And for the kids there is a great playground a short distance further up the mountain.

Here you can have a pint. The restaurant is part of Eschwege's town history, it was built in 1842 by brewer Friedrich-Wilhelm Lieberknecht and received its concession the following year. To this day, the garden restaurant, which was formerly known as "Light Mountain Felsenkeller", is a popular destination. The eponymous rock cellar, formerly necessary for cooling, is not freely accessible. It goes as a 30 to 40 meter long and about 4.50 meter wide tunnel in the light mountain.
