The old mines of Anglas, located at 2,100 meters above sea level, are in the valley of the Gave du Soussouéou.
Their exploration revealed numerous mineralizations including zinc, iron, tungsten and even arsenic. However, the mines will only be used for the exploitation of zinc. They are no longer used today but some vestiges remain present in the landscape.
