A great cycling and hiking route runs along here at the Lühe Anleger. A visit is recommended at any time of the year. The Lühe Schulau ferry runs back and forth to Schulau several times a day. A large playground for children is located here with many beautifully landscaped seating areas. Many kiosks offer their delicacies, a visit is recommended.

The Lühe-Schulau ferry transports passengers back and forth, taking approximately 25 minutes. Since 1918, the connection has existed between Wedel, now a town in the Hamburg metropolitan region, and Lühe, a village in the first mile of the Altes Land region.
