Tips
The origins of Lindenallee on the Friedenshöhe go back to the end of the Franco-Prussian War of 1871. In the spring of 1871 the municipality of Flacht celebrated a peace festival at which an imperial linden tree was planted at the highest point of the Ettlesberg. A little later, almost 100 linden trees were planted, which today form the avenue.
