Sidi Kaouki is located 28 kilometers south of Essaouira directly on the Atlantic coast.

This village where life is good owes its name to a Sufi healer named Sidi Kaouki who lived there more than 500 years ago. Attracted by its aura many people have come to settle in these places. The beach retains a bit of this mystical power.

Essaouira beach mainly appears at low tide and is less welcoming. Sidi Kaouki is more intended to be a seaside resort than its prestigious neighbour. Less known it is really worth the detour.
