A beautiful post mill stands on Stade Island. An open-air museum was set up there in 1967, so beautiful here. You can visit the mill up close. The mill stone is located at the mill.

The post mill, which originally comes from Rethmar (today the town of Sehnde, Hanover region), is part of the open-air museum on the island and was built there in June 1967.
It can be visited from the outside.
Old town views of Stade show that several post windmills were spread out on the outskirts.
They were gradually replaced by Dutch mills.
The house tree, which is characteristic of post mills and forms the stand and axis of rotation for the rectangular mill case, can be turned "into the wind" either by hand or with simpler mechanics.
The millstone is located in the upper part of the mill.(Source: outdooractive.com)
