Throughout the forest of the pinsapar some gall oaks can be seen with shapes typical of a fantasy story. They are trees that were formerly used for charcoal work and whose branches were cut to produce charcoal. Over the years these specimens have continued to stand, and, although hollow, they are covered with moss and ferns. The presence of these gall oaks is one of the great attractions of the pinsapar.
